The Legacy of Alberta Truss Committee is excited to begin planning our Family & Friends Reunion 2029!
We are inviting our family, friends, and the communities of Ethel and Kosciusko, Mississippi, to come together with us in Sallis, Mississippi, at a beautiful lake side space, for an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend celebration filled with love, laughter, entertainment, and reconnection.
It has been far too long since the family, friends, and people we grew up with in Ethel and Kosciusko have gathered together. In 2029, it’s time to reunite!
REUNION DATES
Our two-day Family & Friends Reunion will be held during Memorial Day Weekend in May 2029.
We are preparing to welcome approximately 1,000 family members and friends for this very special celebration.
LOCATION
We are currently working to secure a beautiful, spacious outdoor property with its own lake in Sallis, Mississippi, near Highway 12.
The open land, lake, and scenic surroundings will give us plenty of room to create an exciting reunion experience for guests of all ages.
ACTIVITIES & SETUP
Our outdoor reunion experience is being planned to include:
- Memorial Day Barbecue
- Outdoor Fairgrounds
- Children’s Play Area
- Games & Competition Zone
There will be plenty of space for family and friends to relax, celebrate, reconnect, and make new memories together.
REUNION ATTIRE
We are asking each family member and friend to purchase two reunion T-shirts — one for each day of the reunion.
Men: Reunion T-shirt with black slacks, shorts, or jeans
Women: Reunion T-shirt with a black skirt or shorts
Let’s come together looking our best as we celebrate our families, friendships, hometown connections, and shared memories in style!
CAPACITY & PARKING
The property we are considering can comfortably accommodate approximately 1,000 guests and provides ample space for parking.
We are also planning for 2–3 parking attendants to help direct traffic and provide a smooth and welcoming arrival experience.

Choosing a beautiful, spacious, and family-friendly location is very important to us. We want Family & Friends Reunion 2029 to be more than just a gathering—we want it to be a celebration that brings generations, old friends, hometown families, and our communities back together.
